Gainesville is surrounded by beautiful nature with its natural springs, trails, and Paynes Prairie State Park. Whether you enjoy spending time on the water or on land, Gainesville offers numerous activities that allow you to enjoy the Sunshine State. This town is also filled with art and history with the Florida Museum, and multiple performing arts centers. Alachua county offers excellent public schools, a low cost of living, and no state income tax. Gainesville has its own airport which makes traveling easy, and convenient for its residents, and is also an hours drive from other major cities in Florida including; Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.
